Welcome to St. Luke's Sunday School Program!

We have a wonderful opportunity to educate and nurture the spirituality of our youth from preschool through twelfth grade. Each student learns at their developmental levels about God's love, his teachings, and how to live a faithful and devoted life with God.

By attending church and Sunday School regularly, they partake in the liturgy and sacramental life of the church, while studying the Scriptures and traditions of the Greek Orthodox Church. St. Luke's Sunday School curriculum utilizes the guidelines set by the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. For the younger children, God's love is taught through stories, finger plays, songs and crafts.

The learning process is enjoyable and fun, and strives to make each child feel special in our church family. For the older children, the curriculum becomes more specific, concentrating on the scriptures, Sacraments, and traditions of our church, while also applying religious learning to real-world situations and events.

The goal for our older children is to help them apply the fundamentals of Christianity in their life journey and everyday interactions. The St. Luke parish has a wonderful sense of community, filled with friends and family who worship together and greatly care about their fellow parishioners.

Our Sunday School Program follows the parish's special bond by utilizing multi-age activities, where students worship together and learn from one another. Most of our classrooms have combined grade levels and on special, unique Sundays larger groups of students participate in community activities - worshiping, learning and enjoying the camaraderie that all St. Luke parishioners share.

Our educational facility is filled with many devoted and dynamic volunteers. They join the children in worship, educate and nurture them in our Orthodox faith. God's love flows from the teachers and into the hearts of our youth.

We at St. Luke are blessed by our teachers' talents. Loving and helpful hands are greatly appreciated in our Sunday School program. Each of us has something special to offer.

Please consider sharing your talents with the youth- you and our St. Luke children will benefit. Also, please encourage your children to join us on a regular basis. We love to see all of the children.
